We are Mark Jordan and Alfreda Potrafke; founders of A & M Record Research, located in south-central Pennsylvania. We specialize in family history research, record research, and cemetery research. We started our company in 2007 because of our passion and experience for doing family history research. Mark began doing family history research in 2002; with extensive family and record research experience with on-line research, as well as hands-on research in parts of Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Kentucky. Mark has a degree in Accounting from Elizabethtown College in Pennsylvania. Alfreda has been doing family history research since 2000; with extensive hands-on family and record research experience in parts of Pennsylvania, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and West Virginia; as well as on-line research experience. Alfreda has certification in Computer Software from the University of Cincinnati in Ohio. We have our certification in American Record Research through the University of Toronto, and are hoping to take more classes in the near future. We both have extensive experience in cemetery research in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Kentucky also. We enjoy what we do and have made this our life-long goal. As much as we love researching our own families, we also take pride in helping others with their family history research. It’s the thrill of the hunt that is so exciting to us and keeps us wanting to do more! |
